Dr. Katie O’Regan is a multi-talented creative force and multidisciplinary artist whose body of work spans literature, Broadway, regional theater, film, music, and intuitive coaching. She serves as the founder and director of Sacred Noise Society, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) arts organization dedicated to inspiring creativity) and The Star City Film Festival.

Key Artistic & Leadership Highlights

Broadway & Stage Performance: Danced on Broadway as "The Dancing Statue of Liberty" alongside Yakov Smirnoff in his hit Broadway special As Long As We Both Shall Laugh at the American Airlines Theatre. Her diverse performance credits also include starring roles in her original works, playing "Belle" in A Christmas Carol, and playing "Kathryn" in An Enemy of the People on a Midwest tour directed by Diane Paulus.  

Directing, Producing & Stage Lead: Has directed over 70 staged productions throughout her career. Produced, directed, and starred as the lead character "Jane" in the Off-Broadway production of Phyllis Yes's play Good Morning Miss America at the historic Theatre 80 St. Marks in New York City. Other notable theatrical directing credits include Tennessee Williams’ Trilogy of the Blues and Keith Carey Green’s Women Who Work.

Published Author: Author of the book Stories From Under My Hats—a compelling collection of 52 short stories written from a feminist perspective, which also serves as the inspiration for her podcast by the same name.

Filmmaking: Adapted, directed, produced, composed music for, and starred as Jane Nelson in the feature film Give 'Em Hell Honey (also released as Painting Jane), an inspiring story centered on love, grief, and transformation adapted from Good Morning Miss America. Her screenwriting and film credits also include the documentary Skiing With The Angels and short project Give Me a W.

Playwriting & Songwriting: Author of 8 original plays and composer of over 150 original songs across various genres.

Host & Media: Creator and host of the podcast Stories From Under My Hats and the web series Featured Friday, Filmmakers.

Intuitive Coaching & Academic Background: Holds a doctorate with a dissertation focused on workplace mentoring. Combines extensive training in opera, acting, choreography, and writing with intuitive and clairvoyant coaching to empower artists and individuals in finding their voice and authentic path.
